Mental Health Technician, No CDCA

- Ensure the well-being of patients and provide a positive, supportive, and structured environment.
- Conduct safety checks
- Document timely, accurate and appropriate clinical information in patient's medical record.
- Interact routinely with patients, observe behaviors, and communicate significant observations to nursing staff.
- Engage patients in interactions, group therapy and activities designed to encourage achievement of treatment goals and increase therapeutic coping skills.
- Complete and maintain required documentation. Complete paperwork as required on incidents and events that may take place on the unit.
$15-$18/Hr
Requires a HS Diploma or GED. Associates degree and/or related certificates will provide a competative edge and opportunity to negotiate salary.

Behavioral Technician

- Facilitate individualized treatment plans to meet needs of each client
- Facilitate activities to build skills: communication, social skills, daily living, independence, personal hygiene, fine and gross motor skills
- Work one on one with clients
- Assist and care for children with severe developmental disabilities
- Cook meals as necessary
- Transport and attend appointments with clients

- Provide hot line service, crisis intervention, and mobile response services
- Perform triage under clinical supervision

- Serve as consultant to hotline staff, clinicians, third party callers, etc.
- Provides assessments and safety planning under clinical supervision
- Completes required documentation
